My Sprint:
I own a Alfa Romeo Sprint 1.5 and after much searching on the internet
I decided that a webpage need to be created that would links to all the
best sites and information. The Sprint I own is from 1985 and it has done
some 100,000km in its life time. It only has some very small amounts of surface
rust in it. My engine is the twin Weber 36 IDF carburetor setup and although
it could do with some more power it is quite sufficient to pull away from
other cars at speed. It is apparent that my Sprint has been in accident
on the left hand side of the vehicle, the previous owner mustn't have
taken to much care with it. I have not really modified the car in anyway,
although I would love to put a 16 valve 1.7 engine into it. I have fitted
a new stereo system into the car, because the original Alfa Romeo branded
Eurovox had a snapped circuit board in it. This circuit board breakage
would have cost a lot to repair so I bought an Alpine CD player instead.
The previous owner had replaced the original speakers with some very uninteresting
and pathetic Panasonics. So I'm now going to replace them with a set of
Alpine component speakers. The original inside door handles were also
broken so I replaced them with ones out of a Alfa Romeo Sud.My Sprint is old ()
